  • "Big Brothers Big Sisters of the North Bay" (San Francisco Bay Area) - 4 years as a Counselor and over 4 years as a "Big Sister" to a (now) 15 year old girl. She continues to be my "Little Sister". Individual, children and family counseling, dealing with issues such as:  communication/behavioral, family-chaos, substance abuse within the family, domestic violence, depression, anxiety, children with incarcerated parents, crisis-intervention, bipolar illness, and learning disabilities.  
  • "Community Institute For Psychotherapy" - San Rafael, CA - In-depth psychotherapy for adults, children, families and couples. Crisis intervention was included in my work. Worked with clients who were dealing with learning disabilities, bipolar illness, depression, relationship issues, life transitions and grief.
  • University of San Francisco "CENTER FOR CHILD AND FAMILY DEVELOPMENT": San Francisco, CA  - A USF School-Based Family  Counseling Program at Marina Middle School . Provided Counseling to 6th - 8th grade children and their parents, as well as consultation with principals and teachers. Most clients were children who were referred by their teachers for inappropriate behavior. Children were dealing with issues such as depression, learning disabilities, extremely difficult family/home situations, grief, stress and transitional issues.
  • "Family Services Agency of Marin County", San Rafael, CA. Provided Counseling in the "Suicide Prevention Community Program" Provided "Life Skills" training to children (groups and individual) at Loma Verde Elementary School in Novato, CA .Provided Grief Counseling to individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, loneliness, grief, etc.
  •  "Sunny Hills Children's Garden", San Rafael, CA Home-based family therapy with extremely challenging family systems. Provided Counseling with Couples, Families and Children struggling with depression, abuse, "acting-out", alcohol abuse, marital and parent/child conflict and the impact of alcohol abuse on children.  Counseled groups with issues ranging from financial difficulties, relationship problems, alcohol and substance abuse, family difficulties, family/children issues, mental illness, depression and major life transitions.
